Crown Land Set Apart for a Postmaster's Residence in the Town District of Russell

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for a postmaster's residence from and after the 21st day of June 1971.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 29th day of January 1971 and published in Gazette, 18 February 1971, No. 13, p. 247, setting apart Crown land for road, better utilisation and a gravel pit in Blocks III and V, Coneburn and South Wakatipu Survey Districts, in so far as it affects the areas of Crown land first to sixtly (inclusive) described in the First Schedule thereto, and as to the area of Crown land containing 2 acres 2 roods 23 perches nineteenthly described in the said First Schedule and hereby declares the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for road from and after the 21st day of June 1971.

Declaring Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with the right of way created by Deed No. 106962 (194/251), Wellington Land Registry, over part of Section 221, Akatarawa Survey District, and being the land coloured blue on the plan on certificate of title, Volume 352, folio 96, Wellington Land Registry, for State housing purposes from and after the 21st day of June 1971.

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945 in the City of Wellington

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington from and after the 21st day of June 1971.
