D.O. 72/2/9B/2/0, 72/2/9B/2/0/11)\n\nNotice of Intention to Take Additional Land for a Police\nStation in the Borough of Mount Eden\n\nNOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the pro-\n visions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the land\n described in the Schedule hereto for a police station, and\n notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so\n required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at\nBalmoral and is there open for inspection; and that all\n persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if\n they have any objections to the taking of the said land\n not being objections to the amount or payment of com-\n pensation set forth the same in writing and send the written\n objection within 40 days of the first publication of this\n notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that,\n if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a\n public hearing of the objection will be held unless the\n objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised\n of the time and place of hearing. The land to be taken\n is a strip 1 foot wide, 41 feet 5 inches in length at the\nrear of the Balmoral Police mobile patrol base fronting\nHalston Road.\n
