Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken and Vested in Block IX, Ongo Survey District, Rangitikei County
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and further declares that the road first and secondly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, and the land described in the said Third Schedule, when so taken, shall vest in the New Zealand Insurance Company Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland; that the road thirdly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Tumihau Utiku Potaka, junior, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 475922, Wellington Land Registry; and that the road fourthly and fifthly described in the said Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest as to one-third share in Karatuia Downs for life, subject to termination on remarriage, with remainder to Grantland Tuhaa Downs and Wanda Roe Millyn equally, and as to the remaining two-thirds share in the said Grantland Tuhaa Downs and Wanda Roe Millyn, as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 631097, Wellington Land Registry.
