PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 427, held by Amy Catherine Davey, of Waipukurau, spinster, and Ida Adelaide Hanson, wife of Leonard Victor Hanson, of Waipukurau, farmer, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, recorded in register book, Volme 64, folio 10, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.

Road Closed and Vested in Blocks II and III, Hangaroa Survey District, and Previous Declaration Revoked as to Part

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the Declaration dated the 15th day of December 1970 and published in Gazette, 14 January 1971, No. 1, page 8, proclaiming land as road and road closed and vested in Blocks II and III, Hangaroa Survey District, in so far as it affects the road described in the Second Schedule to the said declaration, and also proclaims as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto, which shall, when so closed, vest in Anthony Campbell Steele (two-thirds share) and Bryan Campbell Steele (one-third share), both of Gisborne, farmers, as tenants-in-common in the said shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage Nos. 92931 and 92932, Gisborne Land Registry.

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington from and after the 17th day of May 1971.
