Road Closed and Land Taken and Vested in Blocks I and V, Mangatoro Survey District, Dannevirke County and Previous Notice Revoked as to Part

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the notice dated the 6th day of February 1970, and published in Gazette, 5 March 1970, Volume I, page 365, proclaiming land as road, road closed and vested and land taken and vested in Blocks I and V, Mangatoro Survey District, Dannevirke County, pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, in so far as it affects the road described in the Fourth Schedule thereto and the land described in the Fifth Schedule thereto, and pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Ian Arnold Barnett, of Awakeri, sheepfarmer, as executor, subject to memorandum of lease No. 224024, Hawke's Bay Land Registry, and also hereby takes the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29 and declares that the said land shall, when so taken, vest in the said Ian Arnold Barnett, of Awakeri, sheepfarmer, as executor, subject to the said memorandum of lease No. 224024, Hawke's Bay Land Registry.

ALL that piece of land containing 0.1 of a perch being part Section 2, Block I, Mangatoro Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23625 (S.O. 5718) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia, edged sephia.

Declaring Land Taken, Subject to a Fencing Agreement, for Maori Housing Purposes in the Borough of Wairoa

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the fencing agreement contained in transfer No. 70786, Hawke's Bay Land Registry, for Maori housing purposes from and after the 10th day of May 1971.
