Permanent State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the permanent State forest land described in the Schedules hereto as a State forest park, to be known as Coromandel State Forest Park.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, County of Coromandel, situated in Colville, Moehau, and Harataunga Survey Districts, containing 9,415 acres and 27 perches, more or less, being Section 12, Block II, Colville Survey District, Sections 6, 8, 9, and 10, Block I, Moehau Survey District, Sections 8 and 9, Block II, Moehau Survey District, Section 8, Block IV, Moehau Survey District, Section 2, Block III, Harataunga Survey District, and part Moehau 1p Block (S.O. Plan 44985).

SECOND SCHEDULE

All that area in South Auckland Land District, Counties of Thames and Coromandel, situated in Hastings, Whitianga, Thames, and Tairua Survey District, containing 113,040 acres and 20.5 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 18, Block II, Hastings Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of Section 18 aforesaid, to and along the western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of section 31, Block II aforesaid, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Kakatarahae 2 Block; thence easterly generally to and along the north-western and northern boundaries of part Kakatarahea 1 Block, to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Waiparapara Block, to and along the northern boundary of Section 7, Block IV, Hastings Survey District, along a right line to and along another portion of the north boundary of Section 7 aforesaid, to the north-east corner of that section; thence southerly generally along the west side of a public road, the western boundary of Section 22, Block V, Hastings Survey District, and the north-western boundary of Pukawa Block, to and along the left bank of the Waimahoe Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Waimahoe Block; thence southerly and easterly generally along a right line to and along the western boundary of Waimahoe Block aforesaid, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to and along the right bank of the Piraunui Stream, to and along the right bank of the Marananui-a-Hatu Stream to the easternmost corner of Section 19, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 19, aforesaid, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the north-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block IV, aforesaid;
