DANNEVIRKE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dannevirke County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the Dannevirke County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, and its amendments, the said Dannevirke County Council hereby makes a special rate of four hundred and eighty-five ten-thousandths of one cent (.0485c) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Dannevirke County, comprising the whole of the County of Dannevirke, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Flats Additional Loan 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand two hundred dollars ($7,200), authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the additional costs of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.00355 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value), of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on 14 April 1971.

Gas Loan 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting additional costs in providing for the use of natural gas, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0148 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value), of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 7th day of April 1971:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and sixty-two thousand dollars ($262,000) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 77, 1971, $262,000 which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Parking Buildings Loan 1954 of $340,000 which matures on 27 June 1971, the said Auckland City Council makes and levies a special rate of point nought seven nought nine (.0709) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Depot Loan 1970—$100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and buildings for a workshop, store, and depot and enlarging, constructing, remodelling, or renovating any structure on the land, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0392 cents in the $ upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council passed at a properly constituted meeting of the said Council held on Wednesday, the 14th day of April 1971.

HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hokitika Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000, authorised to be raised by the Hokitika Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for erecting accommodation for old people, the said Hokitika Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.12 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Hokitika; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
