Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of additional buildings for the University of Auckland, and for the purposes of that public work the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from Her Majesty the Queen by Bettina Denise Sharman, of Auckland, spinster, under and by virtue of lease No. R.L.U. 485, all register book No. 13c/897, North Auckland Land Registry, is required to be taken; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said leasehold interest should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works to the taking of the said leasehold estate, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
