CORRIGENDUM

In the Schedule to the Consent dated 1 April 1971 and published on 7 April 1971 in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 25, at page 632, consenting to the raising of loans by certain local authorities, in the name of the loan to be raised by the Waimairi County Council for "1971" read "1970" which last-mentioned year appears in the Consent signed by an Assistant Secretary to the Treasury.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Wellington Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge (Lot 1 on Plan 2184, Wellington Land District)

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 9th day of November 1938*, declaring an area of land in the Wellington Land District, and in the Wellington Acclimatisation District, to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921–22.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of April 1971.

Land Taken for the Proper Development and Use of the Said Land in Accordance with the Operative District Scheme for the County of Horowhenua

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the proper development and use of the said land in accordance with the operative district scheme for the County of Horowhenua, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of April 1971.

All that piece of land containing 28.1 perches situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District, Wellington R.D. being part Ngarara West A7 8B 9A; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24937 (S.O. 27820) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for stream diversion purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waipa as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of April 1971.
