NOTICE
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the Tokomairiro High School Board of Governors Notice 1971.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1971. -
The Board of Governors of Tokomairiro High School shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Otago Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
(c) Two members elected by the members of the school committees of Lovell's Flat, Milburn, Milton, Money-more, Tokoiti and Waihola primary schools;
(d) One member appointed by the Bruce County Council and the Milton Borough Council;
(e) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself if and when it thinks fit. -
This notice is in substitution for the Tokomairiro High School Board of Governors Order 1971*.

Mangere College Board of Governors—Notice 1971
PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the Mangere College Board of Governors Notice 1971.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1971. -
The Board of Governors of Mangere College shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board.
(b) Seven members elected by parents of pupils attending the school.
(c) One member appointed by the Manukau City Council.
(d) One member to be co-opted by the board of governors itself, if and when it thinks fit. -
The Mangere Secondary School Board of Governors Notice 1970* is hereby revoked.

SET OCCASIONS ON WHICH FLAGS ARE TO BE FLOWN ON GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
THE New Zealand Ensign is to be flown from Government buildings from 8 a.m. to sunset on the following days:
6 February .... Her Majesty's Accession and Waitangi Day.
1 March St. David's Day.
17 March St. Patrick's Day.
21 April Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen (actual).
23 April St. George's Day.
25 April Anzac Day.
2 June Coronation Day.
First Monday in June Official Birthday of Her Majesty the Queen and Commonwealth Day.
10 June Birthday of Duke of Edinburgh.
4 August Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.
26 September Dominion Day.
24 October United Nations Day.
Fourth Monday in October Labour Day.
Second Sunday in November Remembrance Day (flags lowered for 2 minutes at 11 o'clock).
14 November Birthday of Prince of Wales.
30 November St. Andrew's Day.
Opening of Parliament by Governor-General—in Wellington only (not on day when opened by Commissioners).
Arrival and swearing-in of the Governor-General Designate-in Wellington only.
Departure of the Governor-General—only in the city of departure.
Provincial anniversary days—only in relevant provinces.
OCCASIONS ON WHICH FLAGS ARE FLOWN AT HALF-MAST ON GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
- On day of death and up to and including the day of the funeral: The Sovereign.
- On day of death and day of funeral: The Prime Minister of New Zealand. Former Prime Minister of New Zealand.
- On day of death only: Foreign Heads of State. Commonwealth Prime Ministers in Office.
- On day of funeral only: Members of the Royal Family. Ministers of the Crown. Members of the House of Representatives. Permanent Heads of Government Departments. Commonwealth Governors-General.
NOTE—1. When flag flying occasions fall on weekends, flags are to be flown only at manned Government buildings and only during the hours in which the buildings are manned for other purposes.
- In respect of Government buildings not manned during weekends for other purposes, flag flying occasions which fall during a weekend should not be observed either then or on the following Monday.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, Kairanga County
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for road from and after the 19th day of April 1971.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

2 0 26 Part Crown land; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24960 (S.O. 27493) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.
