HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawera County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one eight three seven six one (0.0183761c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Hawera; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 20th day of March and September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hawera County Council on the 22nd day of March 1971.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 3, 1971
THAT whereas the sum of $12,000 borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Parakai Domain Development Loan 1964, $60,000, is due and payable on the 21st day of April 1971, and whereas the sum of $9,600 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $9,600 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $9,600 shall be payable on the 1st day of April 1985, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 3, 1971, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.001 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within County of Waitemata, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan being a period of 14 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 4, 1971
THAT whereas the sum of $42,000 borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Orewa Water Supply Loan 1964, $211,000, is due and payable on the 21st day of April 1971, and whereas the sum of $37,500 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $37,500 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $37,500 shall be payable on the 1st day of April 1995, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 4, 1971, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.056 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within Orewa County Town, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

HIKURANGI TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hikurangi Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $31,300 authorised to be raised by the Hikurangi Town Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of renewing water mains and constructing a water treatment plant, the said Hikurangi Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0136 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Town District of Hikurangi; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Coromandel County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0434 cents in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Coromandel, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
