PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as closed the
road described in the Schedule hereto; and further declares that
the first three areas of road described in the said Schedule shall,
when so closed, vest in the Maori Trustee, subject as to the
area of road first described to memorandum of lease, Volume
131, folio 226, held by Samuel Raymond Drought, of Opunake,
farmer, and Noeline Edna Drought, his wife, as tenants in
common in equal shares, subject also to memorandum of
