Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First
Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared
to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellation of the land has
been changed by subsequent order of the Maori Land Court;
and whereas a certain parcel of the land has since been released
from the provisions of the said Part XXIV; and whereas it is
desired to replace the notice aforesaid by a further notice
referring to the balance of the land under the current appella-
tion.
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Gisborne 1971, No. 11.
  2. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
    declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act
  3. This notice is issued in replacement of the notice referred
    to in the First Schedule hereto, which is hereby revoked.

from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as
follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development
    Notice Whangarei 1971, No. 11.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
    hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the
    Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Law Practitioners Act 1955
PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is hereby
given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand
Law Society, on the 26th day of February 1971, ordered that
the name of John Victor Carthy be struck off the roll of
barristers and the roll of solicitors of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand.

New Zealand.

I, Jack Alexander McLeod Kean, Assistant Comptroller of
Customs, give notice that I have applied to the Indecent
Publications Tribunal for a decision as to whether the book:
A Psychiatrist Discusses 21 Abnormal Sex Cases
presented by Dr. Michael M. Gilbert with Robert Tralins, is
indecent or not or for a decision as to its classification.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
(as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans
Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to
the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary
to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents
to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective
amounts specified in that Schedule.
