of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, as described
in the New Zealand Gazette, 1967, p. 408, and proceeding
easterly along the northern boundary, southerly along the
eastern boundary, and westerly along the southern boundary
of the said Lot 1, to and northerly generally along the
eastern boundary of the Inner Area of the Auckland
Metropolitan Drainage District as described in the New
Zealand Gazette, 1967, p. 408, to the point of commencement.

All that area in the North Auckland Land District,
Waitemata County, in Block II, Titirangi Survey District,
bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the southern
boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 49741, and the eastern side of Shaw
Road, and proceeding southerly generally along the eastern
side of the said road to and south-easterly along the north-
eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 24738, and Allotment 15,
Waikomiti Parish, to and northerly and westerly along the
boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage District as described in New Zealand Gazette 1969,
p. 1714, and the Third Schedule to the Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage Act 1960, and again New Zealand Gazette, 1969,

Exempting Land in the Westland Land District from the
Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir
Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule
hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-GREY COUNTY

SECTION 12 (formerly part Section 1), Block V, Cobden
Survey District: area, 18 acres and 37 perches, more or less
(S.O. Plan 5740), save and excepting for Her Majesty the
Queen all seams or beds of coal and all other minerals or
metals, and reserving to Her Majesty the Queen and all persons
lawfully entitled to work the said coal, minerals, and metals, a
right of ingress, egress, and regress under the said land.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 27th day of February 1971.

Revoking Appointment of and Appointing Licensing
Authorities for Issue of Heavy Traffic Licences

Pursuant to subclause (2) of regulation 18 of the Motor
Vehicle Taxation Regulations 1966*, the Minister of Transport
hereby revokes as from the 1st day of March 1971 the warrant
dated the 31st day of May 1966+, appointing the local
authority described in column 1 of the First Schedule hereto as
the licensing authority for the purpose of collecting heavy
traffic fees due under the said regulations for the district of
the respective local authority and for such area as is described
in column 2 of the First Schedule hereto, and hereto appoints
as from the 1st day of March 1971 the authority described in
column 1 of the Second Schedule to be the licensing authority
for the purpose of collecting heavy traffic fees due under the
said regulations for the district of the respective local authority
and for such area as is described in column 2 of the Second
Schedule opposite the respective name of the said local
authority.
