Maori Land Development Notice
Pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1971, No. 4.
- The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Assignment of Rock Oyster Farming Lease
Pursuant to regulation 41 of the Rock Oyster Farming Regulations 1964, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries consented to the assignment of lease No. 151 in Waikare Inlet, Bay of Islands, to Jack Leslie William Pollock and Vera Pollock, both of Auckland, and subsequently a deed of assignment was executed on 27 August 1970.

The Land and Income Tax Act 1954: Interest on Income Tax Paid in Advance
Pursuant to section 207 of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954 as amended by section 89 (c) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1957, the Minister of Finance has prescribed that interest at 4 percent per annum will be credited on advance payments of income tax made by a taxpayer, being a subsisting company* or a public authority (other than either of them in the capacity of a trustee or agent) or a Maori authority, on account of income tax becoming payable during the financial year ending 31 March 1972 provided the total interest so calculated amounts to 50c or more.
Advance payments carry interest for each complete month commencing from 7 March 1971 or the date of payment (whichever is the later) to 6 February 1972 inclusive.

*'Subsisting company' means a company which was incorporated before the 26th day of July 1957, but does not include a company which, by virtue of an election under section 42 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1957, has become a provisional taxpayer.
Department of Agriculture—Agricultural Chemicals Notice Amendment No. 33 (No. Ag. 10781)
Pursuant to the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1959 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under sections 9 and 10 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the said Act it is hereby notified that the Schedule to the Agricultural Chemicals Notice (No. Ag. 10487)* is hereby amended by adding the products specified in the Schedule hereto.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 208—Further Notice Regarding Inquiry on Certain Printed Knitted Fabrics
In conducting the inquiry referred to in Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 204 (New Zealand Gazette of 18 February 1971), the Board will be guided by the request of the Minister of Customs that it inquire into and report on the level of protection, if any, it considers should be afforded to the proposed New Zealand industry to print knitted fabrics by the silk screen process. Accordingly, in the matter of determinations under Tariff items 60.01.05 and 60.01.06 (vide paragraph 1 of Notice No. 204), the Board will consider not only those fabrics not at present so determined but also those the subject of existing determinations. The Board will also give consideration to the rates of duty provided for under Tariff items 60.01.05 and 60.01.06.
