Notice of Approval of Organisation
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, the Minister of Labour hereby notifies that the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated), Kapi Mana Sub-branch of the Wellington Branch, is an organisation approved for the purposes of that Act.

Offers for the Purchase of a Maori Adze
PURSUANT to section 6 (4) of the Historic Articles Act 1962, notice is hereby given that offers are invited for the purchase of a Maori adze from persons or organisations wishing to retain the adze in New Zealand. The adze which is reputed to have been made around 1700 A.D. and to have come from Tewera, Taranaki, is made of stone and measures approximately 4½ in. in length by 2½ in. in width. The adze can be seen at the premises of Mr D. C. D. Cooke, antique dealer, 99 Shortland Street, Auckland.
Offers for the purchase of the adze should be made in writing to the Secretary for Internal Affairs, Private Bag, Wellington, within 3 months of the date of this notice. The highest or any other offer will not necessarily be accepted.
