Declaring Land in the Westland Land District to be Crown
Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
Pursuant to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, the
Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICTβGREY COUNTY
SECTIONS 169, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 178, 179, 180,
and 181; and part Sections 193 and 195 of Square 119, situated
in Block V, Cobden Survey District; Sections 3, 5, 13, 14, and
15, Block V, Cobden Survey District: area, 1176 acres 2 roods
33 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S.
22/2509/5 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plans
3934, 3875, 3872, 5760, 3897, and Roll 1/52); save and except-
ing for Her Majesty the Queen all seams or beds of coal and
all other minerals or metals, and reserving to Her Majesty
the Queen and all persons lawfully entitled to work the said
coal, minerals, and metals, a right of ingress, egress, and
regress under the said land.

King Edward Technical High School Board of Governors
(Amending) Notice 1971
Pursuant to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the
Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the King Edward Technical
High School Board of Governors (Amending) Notice 1971.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1972. -
The Board of Governors of King Edward Technical High
School shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Otago Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attend-
ing the school;
(c) One member elected by the Dunedin City Council, the
Port Chalmers Borough Council, and the Waikouaiti
County Council;
(d) One member elected by the Council of Otago University,
the Council of the Dunedin Teachers College, and
the Council of the Otago Polytechnic;
(e) One member elected by the school committees of the
following State primary schools, namely, the Dunedin
North Intermediate School, the Maori Hill School, the
George Street Normal School, the Pine Hill School,
the North East Valley Normal School, the Opoho
School, the Ravensbourne School, the Maia School,
the St. Leonards School, the Sawyers Bay School, the
Port Chalmers School, the Purakanui School, the
Waitati School, the Warrington School, and the Sea-
cliff School;
(f) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors
itself if and when it thinks fit.
- The King Edward Technical High School Board of
Governors Notice 1971 is hereby revoked*.

Glenfield College Board of Governors Notice 1971
Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister
of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
(1) This notice may be cited as the Glenfield College
Board of Governors Notice 1971.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June -
The Board of Governors of Glenfield College shall be
constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
Board;
(b) Nine members elected by parents of pupils attending the
school;
(c) One member co-opted by the Board itself, if and when
it thinks fit.
- This notice is in substitution for the Glenfield High School
Board of Governors Order 1968*.

Kelston High Schools Board of Governors Notice 1971
Pursuant to section 50 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister
of Education hereby gives the following notice.

(1) This notice may be cited as the Kelston High Schools
Board of Governors Notice 1971.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June -
The Kelston High Schools Board of Governors shall be
constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
Board;
(b) Nine members elected by the parents of the pupils
attending the Kelston Girls' High School and the
Kelston Boys' High School;
(c) One member appointed by the Waitemata County
Council, the New Lynn Borough Council, and the
Glen Eden Borough Council;
(d) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself
if and when it thinks fit.
- This notice is in substitution for the Kelston High School
Board of Governors Order 1954*.

Registered Medical Practitioner Prohibited from Dealing in or
Issuing Prescriptions for Narcotics
Pursuant to regulations 21 (1) and 35 (1) of the Narcotics
Regulations 1966, the Minister of Health, acting on the recom-
mendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby
terminates in respect of Braidia Merle Hopper, of Auckland,
medical practitioner, all the permissions conferred on a medical
practitioner by Part III of the said regulations and hereby
prohibits the said Braidia Merle Hopper from issuing prescrip-
tions for the supply of narcotics.

1972 Open Season for Game (Canada Goose) in North
Canterbury Acclimatisation District
Pursuant to the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal
Affairs declares an open season, for Canada geese only,
within that portion of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation
District described in the First Schedule hereto, during the
period and subject to the conditions specified in the Second
Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA FOR AN OPEN SEASON FOR CANADA GEese
All that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with the
middle of Beach Road, near Poranui Block VIII, Ellesmere
Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along
the south-eastern shore of Lake Forsyth to a white marker post
near the eastern end of that lake; thence due east 50 chains to
a second white marker post; thence northerly to the intersection
of Kinloch Road and the Okute River and along the middle
line of that road and Morrisons Road to the middle of the
