(20) Check valves: (a) Wafer type, ductile iron body, stainless steel flap and seat, sizes 2 in. to 12 in. Working pressure: water, oil, gas, 275 p.s.i. (600 ft. head) saturated steam at 150 p.s.i. (As options these valves may have soft seat insert and/or fitted with back flush lever, adjustable counter balance and cam operated micro switch). (b) Backflow preventor double check valves, 2 in. to 12 in. suitable working pressure 275 p.s.i. (NOTE—This approval does not cover taps, bibcocks, or fire hydrants.)
