Lands and Import Regulations




Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rotorua, in trust, for that purpose.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—ROTORUA COUNTY

SECTION 62, Block I, Tarawera Survey District: area, 11 acres 2 roods 14 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 45188).

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1971

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 1) 1971.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

Proposed Exemption from Import Licensing Withdrawal Notice (No. 1) 1971

NOTICE is hereby given that the proposed exemption from import licensing in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the First Schedule hereto, included in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 October 1969, is hereby amended by the withdrawal therefrom of preserved fish of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto.
