PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for electricity works (Manapouri water power scheme) from and after the 23rd day of February 1970.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Porirua from and after the 23rd day of February 1970, together with the right in gross to convey water over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
