PURSUANT to section 3 of the State Services Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint, for a term of 4 years commencing on the 1st day of January 1971

Ian Gordon Lythgoe, Esquire, of Wellington

to be a member and the Chairman of the State Services Commission.
