Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, and subject also as to Lot 51, D.P. S. 9556 to the building line restriction imposed by S. 312001, as to Lots 6, 10, 15, and 20, D.P. S. 12159 to the building line restriction imposed by S. 402068, as to the said Lots 6 and 10, D.P. S. 12159 to the fencing covenant contained in transfer S. 328526 and as to the said Lot 20, D.P. S. 12159 to the fencing covenant contained in transfer S. 176219, South Auckland Land Registry, as from the 23rd day of November 1970.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block III, Maketu Survey District, Tauranga County, for Road (No. 2 Pokeno-Wellington (via Gisborne) State Highway near Te Matai)

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Puke and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
