At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of
November 1970
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
Matamata County Council stopping the portions of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block II, Atiamuri Survey
District, described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 35.5 Part Lot 1, D.P. 29353; coloured green, edged
green on plan.
2 3 27.6 Part Lot 1, D.P. 29353, and part Lot 3, D.P. 16299;
coloured green on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 24639 (S.O. 44873) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above-mentioned.

Declaring an Access Way to be Under the Control and
Management of the Waimairi County Council

At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of
November 1970
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the access way described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
be under the control and management of the Waimairi County
Council.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that access way containing 3.8 perches situated in Block
VI, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being Lot
472, D.P. 23664, and being Rural Section 380.

Constitution of Ohinemuri and Plains Hydatids Control
District (Notice No. Ag. 10721)

At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Ohinemuri and Plains
    Hydatids Control District Order 1970.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after
    the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The areas comprising the Counties of Hauraki Plains and
    Ohinemuri and the Boroughs of Waihi and Paeroa are hereby
    declared a hydatids control district to be called the Ohinemuri
    and Plains Hydatids Control District.
  3. The Ohinemuri and Plains Hydatids Control Authority is
    hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the
    Ohinemuri and Plains Hydatids Control District.

Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officers Under the
Child Welfare Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, the
Minister of Education hereby appoints:
Hyde, Claude, Marton;
Arnott, Jessie Winifred Hosie, Alexandra; and
Hawkins, George Heiti, Martinborough
to be Honorary Child Welfare Officers for the purposes of the
said Act for the period ending 31 March 1971.

PURSUANT to the Health Act 1956, His Excellency the
Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
William Charles Raymond North, M.B., CH.B.
as a member of the Board of Health for a term of 3 years
