Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Malvern County Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for water supply purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Malvern, in trust, for that purpose.

Maori Land Development Notice

Whereas by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1970, No. 22.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Grant of Oyster Farming Lease

Pursuant to the Rock Oyster Farming Act 1964, the Minister of Marine has granted to Trimac Farms Ltd. the lease of an area of 15 acres of seabed (Lease No. 185) situated in the Arapaoa River in Kaipara Harbour, for the cultivation of rock oysters.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be Limited Access Road

Pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, the National Roads Board hereby revokes its resolution of 18 March 1970, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, declaring that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from a point approximately 8 chains south from its intersection with Kapiti Road to its intersection with Beach Road, Paekakariki, a total distance of approximately 6 miles 16 chains, as more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, 3, and 4 of plans M.O.W. 16155 and the accompanying schedule, held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road in so far as the aforementioned declaration affects the said No. 1 State Highway for a distance of 30 ft measured in a
