The following charges will apply for use of the Department's cranes at Westport wharves:

Ordinary cargoes, per ton (minimum charge $6.80)

as may be determined by Chief Stationmaster, Westport.

The charge for cranage does not include the cost of haulage to the crane when the goods have been previously deposited at a distance therefrom.

NORTH ISLAND MAIN LINE AND BRANCHES

All rates and charges provided in the Local Rates Scale of Charges, with the exceptions indicated hereafter, are increased by up to 12 percentum.

Exceptions—The rates and charges embodied in the following sections are not increased.
