Department of Agriculture—Agricultural Chemicals Notice, Amendment No. 24 (No. Ag. 10709)
Pursuant to the Agricultural Chemicals Act 1959 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under sections 9 and 10 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the said Act it is hereby notified that the Schedule to the Agricultural Chemicals Notice (No. Ag. 10487)* is hereby amended by adding the product specified in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule thereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Revision of District Valuation Rolls
Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General has revised, as at 1 November 1970 the district valuation rolls for the districts named in the following Schedule; provided that in the case of Auckland City such revision relates to the Avondale portion only and further that in the case of Hawke's Bay County to the Heretaunga, Poukawa, Clive, Waimarama, and Havelock ridings only.

Redefinition of the Kenepuru Ward of Sounds Pest Destruction District (Notice No. Ag. 10710)
Pursuant to section 22 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Sounds Pest Destruction Board hereby gives notice that the boundaries of the Kenepuru ward of its district which were specified by a notice dated the 2nd day of March 1970*, are hereby altered and redefined to be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, County of Marlborough, bounded by a line commencing in Block XVI, Gore Survey District, at a point on the sea coast of Port Gore in line with the south-western boundary of Section 1 of 6, Block XVI aforesaid, and proceeding generally north-easterly along the sea coast to Cape Jackson in Block XX, Gore Survey District; thence southerly generally along the sea coast to Snake Point in Block III, Arapawa Survey District; thence westerly generally along the sea coast to its intersection with the middle line of the Grove Wharf at Okiwa Bay in Block X, Linkwater Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 2 of 3, Block XI, Linkwater Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 of 3, to the easternmost corner of that section; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 1136; thence south-easterly and southerly along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of that lot to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 1146, to the easternmost corner of Section 8, Block X, Linkwater Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of Ada Creek; thence southerly along the western boundary of Section 2 of 6, Block XIV, aforesaid; and its production across a public road, Cullen Creek, and another public road and continuing southerly along the said western boundary to the southernmost corner of the said Section 2 of 6; thence along a bearing of 191° 16′ for a distance of 569.4 links, thence along a bearing of 245° 53′ for a distance of 193.7 links to the southern boundary of Section 1 of 6, Block XIV, Linkwater Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of that section to its intersection with the eastern side of a public road; thence along a bearing of 266° 23′ for a distance of 186.9 links to the western side of that public road being a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 1 of 5, Block XIII, Linkwater Survey District; thence south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that section to the north-eastern boundary of Section 2 of 6, Block XIII, Linkwater Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the eastern boundary of Section 7, Block XIII, Linkwater Survey District; thence northerly and generally westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of that section to the eastern boundary of Section 3A Block XII, Wakamarina Survey District; thence generally northerly along that boundary to the southernmost corner of Section 10, Block XII, aforesaid; thence south-easterly a distance of 1511 links and north-easterly a distance of 100 links along the boundaries of the said Section 35 to the easternmost corner of Section 34, Block VI, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that section to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 53, Block VII, Gore Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary to the easternmost corner of the said section 53 (the south-western side of a public road); thence north-westerly along the south-western side of the said public road to the north-eastern boundary of the western portion of Lot 2, D.P. 866;
