PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 2nd day of November 1970.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks I and II, Waiaua Survey District, Opotiki County, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Opotiki and are there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 4, 1970

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 4, 1970.
2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*. 3. The notice dated the 1st day of July 1959†, which relates to Otamatea County at Paparoa, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Otamatea County at Paparoa:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville) (from a point 28 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Franklin Road to a point 38 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from the Paparoa-Oakleigh Road).
