Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 36) 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 36) 1970.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

Licensing Taspac Oysters Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Slipway at Orongo Bay, Bay of Islands

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Taspac Oysters Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Orongo Bay, Bay of Islands, as shown on plan marked M.D. 13955 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of October 1970.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10), and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10).
