Notice of Intention to Take Land for a State Primary School in
Block XVIII, Belmont Survey District
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land
described in the Schedule hereto for a State Primary School;
and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by
the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections
to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the
amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in
writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the
first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at
Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance
with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will
be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing one rood, more or less,
situate in Block XVIII, of the Belmont Survey District, and
being part of Section 2 of the Wainuiomata District. All certificate
of title, Volume 352, folio 180, Wellington Land Registry
(limited as to parcels). The land is situated in Main Road,
Wainuiomata, next to the school grounds, and near the corner
of Homedale Road.

The Traffic (Kiwitea and Oroua Counties) Notice No. 1, 1970
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kiwitea and Oroua
    Counties) Notice No. 1, 1970.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes
    of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations
    1956 dated the 5th day of April 1957†, and the notice under
    regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956 dated the 22nd
    day of January 1958‡, which relate to Cheltenham in the
    Kiwitea and Oroua Counties are hereby revoked.
    SCHEDULE
    SITUATED within Kiwitea and Oroua Counties at Cheltenham:
    No. 54 State Highway (Mangaweka - Palmerston North via
    Kimbolton) (from a point 8 chains measured south-westerly
    generally along the said State highway from Cheltenham Road
    to a point 24 chains measured north-easterly generally along
    the said State highway from Cheltenham Road).
    Cheltenham Road (from the No. 54 State Highway
    (Mangaweka - Palmerston North via Kimbolton) to a point
    16 chains measured north-westerly generally along Cheltenham
    Road from the said State highway).

    Cancellation of the Vesting in the Golden Bay County Council
    and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
    PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
    of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Golden Bay and revokes
    the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described
    in the Schedule hereto.

    NELSON LAND DISTRICT—GOLDEN BAY COUNTY
    Lot 16, D.P. 5987, being part Section 76, District of Takaka,
    situated in Block III, Waitapu Survey District: area, 1 rood
    2.1 perches, more or less.

    Cancellation of the Vesting in the Southland County Council
    and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
    PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
    of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland, and
    revokes the reservation for a site for County buildings over the
    land described in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY
    Lot 2, D.P. 4052, being part Section 1, Block III, Town of
    Fortrose: area, 2 roods and 20.7 perches, more or less. Part
    certificate of title, Volume 45, folio 28.

    Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Taupo County Council
    PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby
    sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve
    for esplanade purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves
    and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Chairman,
    Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taupo in trust,
    for that purpose.
    SCHEDULE
    SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—TAUPO COUNTY
    SECTION 4, Block IV, Tokaanu Survey District: area, 1 acre
    and 30 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 45159.)

    Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District to be a
    Water Area (Part Onekura Farm Settlement) for the Purpose
    of Section 50 of the Land Act 1948
    PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 50 of the Land Act
    1948, the Land Settlement Board hereby declares the land
    described in the Schedule hereto to be a water area (part
    Onekura Farm Settlement), which is deemed to be a water
    area for the purpose of the said section.

    NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—HOKIANGA COUNTY
    PART Ahutoatoa Block, as shown on D.P. 25820, situated in
    Blocks III and IV, Mangamuka Survey District: area, 204
    acres and 30 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan
    marked L. and S. 36/28B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged
    red.
