CORRIGENDUM

In the declaration dated the 29th day of June 1970, and published in Gazette, 16 July 1970, No. 42, page 1244, taking land for the Northcote-Albany Motorway and for better utilisation in the City of Takapuna, for the plan number, "MOW 24225" which appears in the Second Schedule thereto, read "MOW 24255" which last-mentioned number appears in the declaration signed by the Minister of Works.

Directing the Sale of Land in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County

At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day of August 1970 Present: His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT All that piece of land containing 1 acre and 8.1 perches situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part Section 851, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24430 (S.O. 26905) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

RICHARD WILD, Administrator of the Government PURSUANT to section 20 of the Mining Act 1926, I, the Right Hon. Sir Herbert Richard Churton Wild, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, do hereby give the following notice.

NOTICE The notice dated the 20th day of August one thousand nine hundred and two and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1902, p. 1728, which set apart certain lands in the Otago Land District for the discharge of water, tailings, and refuse is hereby revoked.

Warrant Appointing a Member of the North Canterbury Electric Power Board

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint

Miles Hugh Handyside, Esquire, of Cheviot, farmer, to be the representative of the combined district of Cheviot County and part Kaikoura County on the North Canterbury Electric Power Board.

PURSUANT to the Navy Act 1954, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has approved the following appointments, promotions, and terminations of appointments in the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve.

Surgeon Lieutenant Commander M. H. Watson, V.R.D., RNZNVR, promoted to the rank of Surgeon Commander, to date 31 December 1969.

Surgeon Lieutenant Commander N. Roydhouse, V.R.D., RNZNVR, placed on the Emergency List of Officers, RNZNVR, to date 27 August 1969.

Surgeon Lieutenant Commander A. Y. Drury, V.R.D., RNZNVR, promoted to the rank of Surgeon Commander, to date 31 December 1969.

Surgeon Lieutenant Commander, A. G. Slark, RNZNVR, placed on the Emergency List of Officers, RNZNVR, to date 18 March 1970.
