THE period of appointment of the Committee of Inquiry into Urban Passenger Transport is hereby extended to 27 February 1970, by which date the Committee shall submit its report and recommendations to the Government.

The Traffic (Pukekohe Borough) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Pukekohe Borough) Notice No. 1, 1970.

2. All the roads in the Pukekohe Borough, with the exception of those roads contained in the area specified in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 21st day of August 1967†, which relates to Pukekohe Borough, is hereby revoked.
