Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, Taupo County, for a Quarry (Maroa Pumice Pit Extension)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work namely, the construction of a quarry; and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Atiamuri and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works, at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Crown Land in the Borough of Pukekohe Set Apart for Railway Housing Purposes

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes. This declaration shall take effect from and after the 1st day of July 1970.

Declaration That Part of the Unnamed Domain, Taupo Shall be Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that part of the unnamed domain, Taupo, described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act.
