PURSUANT to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Otago Harbour Board to reclaim from Blanket Bay an area of 1 acre 1 rood 33.6 perches, more or less, of endowment land as shown coloured pink on plan M.D. 13837 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Defining Limits of the Taharoa Harbour

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby defines the harbour of Taharoa as being all that area of water bounded by the line of mean high-water spring tides and having as its seaward limits the arc of a circle of 2 nautical miles radius centred at 38° 10.7′ S 174° 42.4′ E near the Wainui Stream entrance.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Thames Valley Agricultural, Pastoral, and Horticultural Association Change of Name Order 1970.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The name of the society known as the Thames Valley Agricultural, Pastoral, and Horticultural Association, which was incorporated by Order in Council under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, on the 13th day of January 1913, is hereby changed to the Te Aroha Agricultural, Pastoral, and Horticultural Association (Incorporated).

Officer Cadet Alexander John Stevens (82933) is granted a short-service commission with effect from 13 March 1970, for a period to expire on 12 March 1982, followed by 4 years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Acting Pilot Officer.
