MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the R.S.A. and Citizens Memorial Hall Loan 1960 of $30,000 which matures on 15 June 1970, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought four one cents (0.041 cents) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Marton, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is paid off.”

MARLBOROUGH ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development Loan 1970, $600,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Marlborough Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, interest, and other charges of the Board’s Development Loan 1970, $600,000, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of extending and developing the Board’s reticulation system, the Marlborough Electric Power Board makes and levies a special rate of sixty-three thousandths of one cent (.063) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property in the Marlborough Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is repaid.

NORTH CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
I, Louis Seager Carpenter, Chairman of the North Canterbury Electric Power Board, do hereby certify that the following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the North Canterbury Electric Power Board held in Rangiora on the 19th day of May 1970:
“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and by all other powers enabling it thereto, the North Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of $75,000 authorised to be raised by the North Canterbury Electric Power Board under the provisions of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of redeeming the balance owing in respect to Issue No. 2 of $70,000 of the North Canterbury Electric Power Board Reticulation and General Loan 1956, and the balance owing in respect to Issue No. 2 of $50,000 of the North Canterbury Electric Power Board Electrical Development Loan 1959, the North Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one seventy-ninth of a cent in the dollar on the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the North Canterbury electric power district; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CITY OF DUNEDIN
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loans 1970
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the renewal loans, detailed in the Schedule hereunder, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing loans due for repayment during the current financial year, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.04494 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loans and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loans, being a period of six (6) years and ten (10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off.

SECURITY RATE
Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1970, $10,000
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and in accordance with an Order in Council issued in Wellington and dated the 19th day of June 1970, that consent has been given to the borrowing of the above sum of $10,000 by the Waipawa Borough Council.
The security for the loan shall be a special rate of decimal nought eight seven seven cents (.0877c) in the dollar ($) made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waipawa.

WAITIRI STATION LTD., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dunedin, gives notice that it has applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell for amendment to the course of Water Race Licence No. 292 and for permission to carry water granted under that licence in Water Race Licence No. 494. The new course applied for commences at a point in Camp Creek about 32 chains above the boundary of Section 2 and Section 30, Block III, Kawarau District, then through Run 345D in a northerly direction to a point just above the boundary of Block III and Block V, Kawarau District, thence through the land of the applicants crossing Coal Pit Road and continuing to a point on the boundary of the land of the applicants with
