Proclaiming an Area in the City of Christchurch to be a Reclamation Area under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a reclamation area under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of February 1970.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Christchurch, bounded by the proposed Antigua Street - Strickland Street deviation, the future Brougham Street expressway, and South Crescent Road, and containing together 1 acre 2 roods 10.5 perches, be the same a little more or less, being Lots 2, 3, and 4 and part Lots 1 and 5, D.P. 839, part Lots 33, 34, and 35, D.P. 2509, all being part Rural Section 17, and part Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 813, being part Rural Section 239. PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of February 1970.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 21.1 perches situated in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 110, Parish of Waiwera; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23247 (S.O. 45837) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
