Proclaiming an Area in the City of Christchurch to be a Reclamation Area under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a reclamation area under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of February 1970.


SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Christchurch, bounded by the proposed Antigua Street - Strickland Street deviation, the future Brougham Street expressway, and South Crescent Road, and containing together 1 acre 2 roods 10.5 perches, be the same a little more or less, being Lots 2, 3, and 4 and part Lots 1 and 5, D.P. 839, part Lots 33, 34, and 35, D.P. 2509, all being part Rural Section 17, and part Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 813, being part Rural Section 239. All certificates of title, Volume 180, folio 8, Volume 329, folio 108, Volume 329, folio 107, Volume 329, folio 106, and part certificates of title, Volume 190, folio 231, Register 4D, folio 151, Volume 257, folio 267, Volume 463, folio 70, Volume 261, folio 295, Volume 222, folio 263, Volume 131, folio 185, Volume 131, folio 184, Volume 131, folio 181, Volume 139, folio 197, Volume 129, folio 89, and Volume 139, folio 262, Canterbury Land Registry; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23741 (S. 116) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 23rd day of January 1970.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of February 1970.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 21.1 perches situated in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 110, Parish of Waiwera; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23247 (S.O. 45837) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of January 1970.
