SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF BOROUGH OF THAMES
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District containing 2,725 acres more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station F., in Block IV, Thames Survey District, and proceeding westerly generally along a line bearing 306Β° 52' for a distance of 4250 links, to Rocky Point; thence due west for a distance of 46 chains; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to a point 4470 links due west of a peg bearing 27Β° 15', 14.92 links from I.T.IX, as shown on S.O. 43487; thence due east for a distance of 3890 links to the north-western corner of the land bordered yellow, shown on S.O. 44799; thence southerly and easterly generally along the western and southern boundaries of that land and the right bank of the Kauaeranga River, to the intersection of that right bank with a right line from Trig. Station D., in Block IV, Thames Survey District, passing through a point 3650 links due west of Trig. Station 92, Gentle Annie, in Block VIII, Thames Survey District; thence northerly generally along the said right line to Trig. Station D., aforesaid; thence north-westerly generally along a right line to Trig. Station F., the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF THAMES
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waikawau River in Block VI, Hastings Survey District; and proceeding easterly generally along the southern boundary of Coromandel County, being along a line up the middle of the aforesaid Waikawau River to its intersection with a right line joining the easternmost corner of Section 1, Block VII, Hastings Survey District, and the southernmost corner of Section 20, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District; thence easterly along that right line, and its production to the middle of the Waiwawa River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 3, Block XIII, Hastings Survey District; thence to and along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 3, aforesaid, the generally northern boundaries of Section 1, Block XVI, Hastings Survey District, and Section 1, Block XI, Whitianga Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Rangihau Stream; thence up the middle of that stream, to and up the middle of Starvation Stream, to and along the northern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Whitianga Survey District, to the easternmost corner of that section; thence along the north-western boundary of TeTipi Block and the north-western boundary of part Kapowai Block to the middle of the Kapowai River in Block VIII, Whitianga Survey District; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Wharepapa Block; thence easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Parahau River, in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3834; thence up the middle of the Parakau River and the Awahau Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Part Whenuakite 2 as shown on D.P. 1726; thence to and along the south-western and southern boundaries of Part Whenuakite 2, and the generally south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Section 19, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 18, Block IX, aforesaid; thence along the generally eastern boundary of the said Section 18, to and north-easterly generally along the south-eastern side of Paul Road, to and along the generally southern boundary of part Te Karo Block, in Block IX, Whitianga Survey District, to and south-easterly generally along the western side of State Highway No. 25, to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 4480; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary to the sea coast; thence southerly generally along the sea coast crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets to and up the middle of the Otahu River to its source; thence along a right line to the source of the Waipaheke Stream in Block II, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence down the middle of the aforesaid stream to and down the middle of the Hikutaia and Waihou Rivers to the shore of the Firth of Thames; thence northerly generally along that shore to the middle of the mouth of the Waikawau River to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the Borough of Thames as hereinbefore described.
BOUNDARIES OF PURIRI RIDING OF COUNTY OF THAMES
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, in Thames County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle of the Tararu Stream with the north-eastern boundary of Thames Borough as hereinbefore described, in Block IV, Thames Survey District, and proceeding northerly
and easterly generally along the generally southern boundary of Hastings Riding as described in Gazette, 1962, page 987, to and southerly generally along the western boundary of Tairua Riding as described in Gazette, 1962, page 987, to the source of the Waipaheke Stream in Block II, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence easterly and northerly generally along the boundary of the County of Thames as hereinbefore described, and the generally southern and north-eastern boundaries of the aforesaid Thames Borough to the point of commencement.

Temporary Protection of Industry
NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake inquiries in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
- Fish, preserved, in airtight containers such as cans, jars, and the like, whether or not with added liquor, oil or sauce, viz, herrings, pilchards, sardines, sild, brisling, falling within Tariff items 16.04.03, 16.04.04, and 16.04.06.
