Road Classification (Wanganui County) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification Wanganui County Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The Wanganui County Council’s proposed classification of the roads, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 12th day of June 1969+ which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes specified in the said Schedule for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the Honihoni tribe.
