Notice of Height Restrictions in Vicinity of Bridge Pa Aerodrome
IN the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956 and in the matter of Bridge Pa Aerodrome in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, whereas it is desirable, in the interests of safety that restrictions be placed over certain lands in the vicinity of Bridge Pa Aerodrome, and whereas the consent in writing of the Minister of Transport has been obtained, now therefore the Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club Incorporated, pursuant to Section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935 as amended by Section 8 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956, hereby gives notice that for the purposes of making Bridge Pa Aerodrome safe for aviation purposes it prohibits, without the consent of the Minister of Transport.

  1. The erection of or placing or extension beyond the height of three (3) feet above the threshold level of the ground at the Northern end of the aerodrome runway of any building, pole, mast or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree above the height of (3) feet on the land described in the First Schedule hereto.
  2. The erection of or placing or extension beyond the height of ten (10) feet above the threshold level of the ground at the Northern end of the aerodrome runway of any building, pole, mast or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree above the height of (10) feet on the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
  3. The erection of or placing or extension beyond the height of twenty-five (25) feet above the threshold level of the ground at the Northern end of the aerodrome runway of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree above the height of (25) feet on the land described in the Third Schedule hereto.
  4. The erection of or placing or extension beyond the height of fifty (50) feet above the threshold level of the ground at the Northern end of the aerodrome runway of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree above the height of (50) feet on the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.
  5. The erection of or placing or extension beyond the height of seventy-five (75) feet above the threshold level of the ground at the Northern end of the aerodrome runway of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind or the growing of any tree above the height of (75) feet on the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto.
  6. Survey Office plans in respect of the lands hereinafter described are held at the Survey Office, Napier, and at the Ministry of Transport, Civil Aviation Division, Wellington.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    HEIGHT limited to 3 feet in the case of the following lands, which lands are more particularly shown red on Survey Office Plan No. 5846.
  7. PART of that fee simple land being part of Lot 12 D.P. 11871 containing 1 acre 2 roods 14 perches and being part of the land in C.T. C3/1489 and being registered in the name of D. P. JOLL LIMITED all that part shown coloured red.
  8. PART of that fee simple land containing 1 acre 3 roods 14 perches being part of Lot 3 D.P. 11325 and being part of the land in C.T. C1/171 and registered in the name of Dorothea Wellwood and all that part shown coloured red.
  9. PART of that fee simple land containing 36 perches being part Lot 3, D.P. 10857, and part land in C.T. B2/750 registered in the name of Hawke’s Bay and East Coast Aero Club Incorporated shown coloured red.
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    HEIGHT limited to 10 feet in the case of the following lands, which lands are more particularly shown coloured green on Survey Office Plan No. 5846.
  10. PART of that fee simple land containing 3 roods 12 perches and part of Lot 12 D.P. 11871 shown in two portions coloured green and being part of the land in C.T. C3/1489 and registered in the name of D. P. JOLL LIMITED.
  11. PART of that fee simple land containing 9 acres 10 perches and part of Lot 3 D.P. 11325 being part of the land in C.T. C1/171 and shown coloured green and registered in the name of Dorothea Wellwood.
    THIRD SCHEDULE
    HEIGHT limited to 25 feet in the case of the following lands which lands are more particularly shown yellow on Survey Office Plan No. 5846.

    FOURTH SCHEDULE
    HEIGHT limited to 50 feet in the case of the following lands, which lands are more particularly shown coloured grey on Survey Office Plan No. 5846.
  15. PART of that fee simple land containing 9 acres 24 perches part Lot 3 D.P. 11325 and shown coloured grey in two parts of C1/171 and registered in the name of Dorothea Wellwood.
  16. PART of that fee simple land containing 1 acre 2 roods 03 perches part Lot 12 D.P. 11871 and shown coloured grey in three portions, and part of land in C.T. C3/1489 and registered in the name of D. P. JOLL LIMITED.
