Cancellation of Licence to Use Water Power and Erect and
Use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Elec-
tricity, with the consent of the licensee, hereby cancels a licence
dated the 27th day of July 1966, authorising John Miller
Garden, John Paterson Garden, and Eoin Ray Hamilton
Garden, all of Millers Flat, sheepfarmers, trading together in
partnership under the firm name of J. M. Garden and Sons,
to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to
erect and use certain electric lines (Gazette, 11 August 1966,
p. 1259).

Registration of the Taihape Abattoir Cancelled and the
Boroughs of Taihape and Ohakune and Part of Rangitikei
County Declared to be Inspected Meat Areas (Notice No.

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Meat Act 1964 the Boroughs of
Taihape and Ohakune and that part of the Rangitikei County
described in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be
inspected meat areas on and from the 1st July 1970, and
pursuant to section 17 of the aforesaid Act the registration of
the Taihape Abattoir is hereby cancelled with effect on and
from the 1st July 1970.

Dissolution of Approved Organisation and Disposal of Assets

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 39 of the Hydatids Act 1968, the
Minister of Agriculture hereby gives notice that:

1. The declaration of the Pelorus Sounds Hydatid Committee,
   by notice dated the 25th day of July 1963*, as an approved
   organisation for the prevention, control, and eradication of
   hydatids in the Pelorus Sounds Hydatid District is hereby
   revoked and the approved organisation dissolved.

2. The net assets of the Pelorus Sounds Hydatid Committee
   are to be transferred to the Marlborough County Council.
