THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Extension and Improvement Loan 1970, of $1,750,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Auckland Electric-power Board Act 1921-22, the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that
behalf enabling it the Auckland Electric-power Board hereby
resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the principal interest and
other charges on a loan of $1,750,000 known as the General
Extension and Improvement Loan 1970, of $1,750,000, for the
purpose of further reticulation of the Board's area, extending,
strengthening and re-organising the supply within that area,
the Auckland Electric-power Board doth hereby make and levy
a special rate of decimal nought one three three nine (.01339)
cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value on the basis of
the capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland
electric-power district comprising the cities of Auckland,
Manukau, and Papatoetoe together with the Boroughs of
Ellerslie, Howick, Mount Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill,
Mount Wellington, Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill,
Otahuhu, and Papakura and the County of Waiheke and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
31st day of March in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.

I, Allan William Gooder, Chairman of the Auckland
Electric-power Board, hereby certify that this is a true copy of
the resolution passed by the Board at its meeting on 4 May
1970.

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1970-$135,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $135,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of repaying on maturity those portions of the Manurewa
Borough Council and the Manukau City Council's loans as
follows: Sewerage Additional Loan 1959, $50,000, 15 June
1970; Roading Loan 1964, $600,000, 20 July 1970; Sewerage
Reticulation Loan 1960, $1,700,000, 14 November 1970; Sewer-
age Reticulation Loan 1960, $1,700,000, 14 December 1970;
Bridges Loan 1964, $220,000, 14 December 1970; Plant Loan
1964, $110,000, 14 December 1970; within the City of
Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal nought one nought five (.0105)
cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value
of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the cur-
rency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty years (20), or until the loan is fully
paid off".

hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a
meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 28th day of
May 1970.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

County Administration Building Loan (1970)-$225,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $225,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting a new county administration building in
Clyde Street, Hamilton East, the said Waikato County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.046 of a cent in the dollar
upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the
County of Waikato; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 6 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Waikato County Council held on the 4th day of
June 1970.

QUEENSTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL

PLEDGING OF SPECIAL RATE

Fire Appliance Loan 1969-$17,000

THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $17,000 authorised to be raised by the Queenstown
Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
for the purpose of purchasing a second fire appliance, the said
Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
0.0708 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value on the
basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the
Borough of Queenstown; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day
of February in each year and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
