Declaring Land and an Easement of Right of Way over Land Taken for the Purposes of the Natural Gas Corporation Act 1967, in Block III, Tainui Survey District, Clifton County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land first described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Natural Gas Corporation Act 1967 and shall vest in the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand from and after the 15th day of June 1970; and also hereby declares that an easement of right of way is hereby taken over the land secondly described in the said Schedule, vesting in the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with rights for the Corporation, its servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees, from time to time and at all times, by day and night, to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses and domestic animals of any kind and with or without carriages, vehicles, motor vehicles, machinery and implements of any kind, over and along the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way; and that such right of way shall be held appurtenant to the land first described in the Schedule hereto from and after the 15th day of June 1970.

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with the appurtenant water and pipeline rights granted in and by transfer No. 116846, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and subject to the fencing covenant contained in transfer No. 16896, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, for electrical works and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board from and after the 15th day of June 1970.
