NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL FOR WAIRAU
VALLEY STORM-WATER DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT LOAN, GLEN-
FIELD COUNTY TOWN

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of
the Glenfield County Town, taken on 2 May 1970, on the
proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan
of $1,214,000, to be known as the Wairau Valley Storm-water
Drainage Improvement Loan, for the purpose of improving
storm-water drainage in the Wairau Valley area and providing
Council’s share of costs of improving Wairau Stream within
the limits of the City of Takapuna resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 746
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1,085
The number of informal votes was ..... ..... ..... 2
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF SCHEME

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957,
notice is hereby given that a scheme, under Part III of the Act,
prepared by the Tauranga City Council as trustee of property
held on charitable trusts declared by the will of WILLIAM
CHARLES STEWART, deceased, such scheme being filed in the
Supreme Court at Auckland under M 829/69, was approved
by the Supreme Court at Auckland on the 6th day of March
1970.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF SCHEME

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957,
notice is hereby given that, on the 18th day of April 1970, the
Attorney General, pursuant to section 48 (1) (b) of the said
Act, approved a scheme, under Part IV of the said Act,
whereby, in respect of moneys contributed for the erection of
a chapel at Nelson Hospital and which exceeded the sum re-
quired for that purpose:

1. A contribution of $2,500.00 already made towards the
   erecti0n of a chapel at Ngawhatu Hospital at Stoke was
   approved.
2. The balance of the said fund and any additions thereto
   are to be held upon trust by the Nelson Hospital Board for:
   (a) Payments for maintenance and improvements in respect
   of the Nelson Hospital chapel, as the Nelson Hos-
   pital Board shall from time to time determine;
   (b) Such further contribution or contributions as the Nelson
   Hospital Board shall from time to time determine
   concerning the costs of erecting the said chapel at
   Ngawhatu Hospital; and
   (c) The cost of medical research at Nelson Hospital, in-
   cluding clinical research on micro-circulation and
   renal transplantation.

$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
