CORRIGENDUM

In the notice “Open season for game in certain acclimatisation
districts”, published in the Gazette of 25 March 1970, in section
(1) (c) (ii), on page 519, for “Repealed” read “Any rifle; or”,
which last-mentioned words appear in the notice signed by the
Minister of Internal Affairs.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Declaring Areas in the
Whangarei Acclimatisation District to be Wildlife Refuges
(Raumanga Quarry Reserve)

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur
Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke that part of the Proclamation issued on the 14th
day of February 1958* declaring the area of land in the
Whangarei Acclimatisation District described in the Schedule
hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife
Act 1953.

SCHEDULE
Raumanga Quarry Reserve—All that area of 14 acres
3 roods 2.9 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 4, D.P.
17810, Lots 1 to 6 (inclusive), D.P. 34995, and Lots 1 to 4
(inclusive), D.P. 35519, all being parts of the northern portion
of Raumanga No. 2 Block, situated in Block XII, Purua
Survey District.
As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 52/368 deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington,
and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
20th day of April 1970.

Land Taken for a State Primary School in Block VI, Waitapu
Survey District, Golden Bay County

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for a State primary school, and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 27th day of April 1970.

SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 10 acres 2 roods 15.5 perches
situated in Block VI, Waitapu Survey District, Nelson R.D.,
and being part Section 3B of G. District of Takaka; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 24014 (S.O. 10885) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
14th day of April 1970.

the County of Horowhenua

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 47 of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the proper development
and use of the said land, in accordance with the operative
district scheme for the County of Horowhenua, and shall vest
in the chairman, councillors, and inhabitants of the County
of Horowhenua as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 27th day of April 1970.
