A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of March 1970.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Waipakura Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 25.5 Part Kaitangata 1A; coloured blue on plan.
0 1 37.4 Part Pukenui 1; coloured orange on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23894 (S.O. 27688) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of February 1970.

Land Taken for the Purposes of Planting and Soil Conservation and Rivers Control in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, Horowhenua County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and its Amendments, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of planting and soil conservation and rivers control, and shall vest in the Manawatu Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of March 1970.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 60 acres 3 roods 19 perches situated in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part Turangarahui No. 1, part land in D.P. 4331, being part old river bed and part land in A. Plan 2360, being part Wahao te Marangai No. 1c; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23940 (S.O. 23012) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Declaring Land in Nelson Land District, Vested in the Nelson Education Board as a Site for a School to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Nelson Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Part Section 35, Square 7, situated in Block XIV, Motueka Survey District: area, 1 acre 2 roods 3.7 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 17, folio 102.
As shown on plan No. L. and S. 6/6/1002 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon washed yellow (S.O. Plan 10785).

Amending a Proclamation Taking Land for Road in Blocks VII and VIII, Te Kuri Survey District, Hobson County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated 25 February 1969 and published in Gazette, 6 March 1969, No. 13, at page 404, taking land for road in Blocks VII and VIII, Te Kuri Survey District, Hobson County, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the area 10 acres 2 roods 25 perches and substituting the area 10 acres 2 roods 10.5 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of February 1970.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 2nd day of March 1970
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order shall come into force on 1 April 1970.
  2. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby included in the City of Manukau.
  3. The alteration of the boundaries of the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
    SCHEDULE
    All that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 282 acres and 1 perch, more or less, and being those areas of 170 acres 1 rood 22 perches and 6 acres 2 roods 39 perches shown, coloured yellow, on Survey Office Plan 45564, and also those areas of 6 perches, 1 rood 25 perches, 3 acres 2 roods 18 perches, 12 perches, 79 acres 2 roods 36 perches, 4 acres and 24 perches, 7 acres 1 rood 8 perches, 8 acres and 7 perches, and 24 perches shown, coloured yellow, and 1 acre 1 rood 20 perches shown, coloured yellow, edged yellow, on Survey Office Plan 45563; all the above areas being reclaimed tidal lands in the Manukau Harbour, situated in Block IX, Otahuhu Survey District.
