National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 16 February 1970, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) from its crossing of the North Island Main Trunk Railway south-west of Pokeno to the Whangamarino River, a distance of approximately 3¾ miles, as more particularly shown on plans M.O.W. 16047 and the accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Southern Residency, Ministry of Works, Auckland, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Auckland Provincial Radio Traders’ Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1804, situated at 157–161 Khyber Pass Road, Auckland, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the New Criterion Hotel, Auckland
Pursuant to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 30 January 1970, made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for opening and closing the New Criterion Hotel, Auckland, for sale of liquor to the public, namely, that such hotel premises be authorised to open at 9 o’clock in the morning and close at 8 o’clock in the evening, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.

Decisions under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33—Notice No. 53
DECISIONS in interpretation of the Sales Tax Act, notified in the supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of 21 December 1961, No. 83, and from time to time amended, are further amended as follows:
Minister’s decision No. 1 (4) is cancelled and the following decision substituted therefor:
“1 (4) Person engaged in the bona fide repair, alteration, or renovation of second-hand goods which have been used in New Zealand, provided they carry on such work only.”
