FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water in Dublin Bay, Lake Wanaka, within 200 yds of the edge of the water and bounded on the sides by parallel lines 150 yds apart, the south-western boundary being in line with the north-eastern boundary of Dublin Bay Domain, bearing 314° 25′, as shown on Dunedin S.O. Plan 13597, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

THE access lane shall be marked as follows:

  1. Two 8-ft transit posts, with a distance of not less than 10 ft or more than 20 ft between, and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands, shall be erected on land in line with each side of the access lane, the first post being sited at normal lake level.

  2. On each side of the transit posts, sited at normal lake level, there shall be fastened, in line with the sides of the access lane, a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft, painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:

“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour. Bathers Keep Out”

  1. A marker Buoy, either barrel, drum, or spherical shaped, painted bright orange with a vertical black stripe, shall be suitably moored to mark the lake end of each side of the access lane.

The Orewa Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1970

PURSUANT to the Local Licensing Trusts Regulations*, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Orewa Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1970.

  2. There is hereby constituted a local licensing trust, to be called the Orewa Licensing Trust.

  3. (i) The first election of members of the Trust shall be on Saturday, 14 February 1970.

(ii) The Returning Officer for the first election of members of the Trust shall be Kenneth Maclachlan, County Clerk for the Waitemata County Council.

  1. The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the Trust shall be the County Town of Orewa and Hatfield’s Beach, being the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. The area within which the Trust may expend or distribute its profits, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 44 of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, shall be the whole of the area described in the Schedule to this notice.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, being portion of the County of Waitemata, bounded by a line commencing at the point of mean high water on the shore of the Hauraki Gulf in line with the northern boundary of Lot 160, D.P. 25436 (recreation reserve); thence by a right line to and along the said northern boundary through Allotment 582, Waiwera Parish (part Hatfield Bay Domain), across State Highway No. 1 to the south-eastern corner of part Allotment 376, Waiwera Parish (Hatfield Bay Domain); thence by the southern boundary of the aforesaid part Allotment 376 to its intersection with the right bank of the Otanerua Stream; thence generally northerly, westerly, and southerly along the right bank of the Otanerua Stream to its point of intersection with the eastern boundary of Allotment 227, Waiwera Parish; thence southerly by that eastern boundary to a point of intersection with the northern side of Hillcrest Road; thence by a right line across Hillcrest Road to and by the north-western boundary of Lot 15, D.P. 47676, and the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 48277 (Alice Eaves Scenic Reserve); thence south-easterly along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 48277; thence westerly generally to the Nukumea Stream and across the Nukumea Stream to and by the north-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 36838; thence south-easterly along the western boundary of the aforesaid part Lot 1, D.P. 36838, to its intersection with the northern side of West Hoe Road; thence southerly along the eastern side of West Hoe Road and the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 36838, to its intersection with the northern side of West Hoe Road; thence by a right line across West Hoe Road to a point of intersection with the southern side of West Hoe Road and the western boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 35842; thence southerly and westerly along the north-western boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 35842, part Allotment 109, Waiwera Parish and Lot 1, D.P. 35842; thence by the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 35842, part Allotment 109, Waiwera Parish, part Lot 2, D.P. 35842, and part Allotment 66 (C.T. 504/228), Waiwera Parish; thence generally north-easterly and south-easterly along the boundary of part Allotment 66, D.P. 19630, to the left bank of the Orewa River; thence generally easterly along the left bank of the Orewa River to the north-western side of State Highway No. 1 at the Orewa Bridge; thence by the north-western side of the Orewa Bridge to the right bank of the Orewa River; thence generally westerly along the right bank of the Orewa River to a point of intersection with the south-western boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 23018, being part of Allotment 147, Waiwera Parish; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern side of an unformed road to a point being the southernmost corner of Lot 13, D.P. 43648; thence by a right line across State Highway No. 1 to the point of intersection with the south-western boundary of part Allotment S.W. 158, Waiwera Parish; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of State Highway No. 1 to the northern boundary of Whangaparaoa Road; thence generally easterly along the northern boundary of Whangaparaoa Road and Viponds Road to the point of intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 23368; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the point in line on the mean high water of the Hauraki Gulf; thence generally northerly and westerly along the mean high water on the shores of the Hauraki Gulf to the point of intersection with the southernmost point of Orewa Bridge, along the south-eastern side of the Orewa Bridge, and again generally northerly along the line of mean high water on the shores of the Hauraki Gulf to the point of commencement.

Road Classification (Kairanga County) Notice No. 1, 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Kairanga County) Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The Kairanga County Council’s proposed classification of the roads set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 18th day of January 1951† as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Roads Classified in Class I

Shirriffs Road (formerly named Waldegrave’s Road).

Te Matai Road (from the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via new Plymouth) to a private access road leading to the Manawatu River).
