AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 10th day of December 1969:
“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of fifty-six thousand nine hundred dollars ($56,900) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 60, 1969, $56,900, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Purchase of Properties Loan, 1963, $500,000—First Issue, $200,000, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought one two nine (.0129) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 20, 1969
THAT, whereas the sum of $80,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Te Atatu Sewerage Loan 1959, $382,000, is due and payable on the 1st day of March 1970; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $18,700 and the sum of $61,300 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves

to borrow the sum of $61,300 for the purpose of repaying the said loan;

that the sum of $61,300 shall be payable on the 1st day of March, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council;

that for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 20, 1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0465c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Te Atatu Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off; and

that authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 21, 1969
THAT, whereas the sum of $85,700, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan No. 1, 1960, $760,000, is due and payable on the 1st day of March 1970; and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $20,100 and the sum of $65,600 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

To borrow the sum of $65,600 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

That the sum of $65,600 shall be payable on the 1st day of March, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 21, 1969, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0054c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Parakai Domain Development Loan 1969, $60,000
THAT for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a covered swimming pool and associated buildings on the Parakai Domain, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0065c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Drainage Renewal Loan No. 1, 1969
EXTRACT from the minutes of a meeting of the Northcote Borough Council held on 16 December 1969:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $7,000 authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the No. 2 Drainage Area Loan 1958 of $160,000 which matures on 19 February 1970, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0102c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
