PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1969, No. 50.

The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release a certain parcel of that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Palmerston North 1969, No. 5.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Temporary Protection of Industry
NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, and to report, in terms of section 10D of that Act, concerning the following goods:
Excavators, falling within Tariff item 84.23.04.
Date of reference: 5 January 1970.
Notice is hereby also given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested to undertake inquiries and to report, in terms of section 10E (4) of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, on whether the temporary protection imposed on the following goods is still necessary to protect the New Zealand industries in relation to the importation of such goods:

Incubators for premature infants, falling within Tariff item 90.17.11.
-
Knives and cutting blades for machines or for mechanical appliances, falling within Tariff item 82.06.00.
-
Domestic capacity measures and parts thereof, falling within chapters 73, 74, and 76 of the Customs Tariff.
