The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966—Amendment
No. 13

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of
Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive
    List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 13, and shall be read
    together with, and deemed to be part of, the Control of
    Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966 (hereinafter referred to as
    the principal notice).
  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its publication in the Gazette.
  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting under
    the general heading MISCELLANEOUS, the item "Phormium
    tenax".

Department of Agriculture—Agricultural Chemicals Notice,
Amendment No. 3 (No. Ag. 10546)

PURSUANT to the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 and the
Agricultural Chemicals Act 1959, it is hereby notified that the

Fixing the Inspection Fee Payable on Graded Apples and Pears
(Notice No. Ag. 10550)

PURSUANT to regulation 96 of the New Zealand Grown Fruit
Regulations 1952, the Minister of Agriculture hereby fixes the
inspection fee payable for the season ending 30 November
1970 and thereafter until further notice on graded apples and
pears passed through recognised inspection points at 1.10c
for each bushel case and 0.55c for cases other than a bushel
case.

Notice No. Ag. 10082, published in the Gazette of 15 June
1967, at page 1022, is hereby revoked.

Consent to the Generation of Electricity by David McLeod
by the Use of Water

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby consents to the generation of electricity by
David McLeod, of Cass, sheep farmer, by the use of water,
subject to the following conditions.


CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed by the Water Power Regulations
    1934 to be implied in every licence to use water for the
    purpose of generating or storing electricity shall be deemed
    to be conditions of this consent as if it were such a licence.
  2. This consent is subject to compliance with the Water
    Power Regulations 1934, the Electrical Supply Regulations
    1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio
    Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations hereafter
    made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those
    regulations, as if in the case of the Water Power Regulations
    1934 it were a licence under the Public Works Act 1928 to
    use water for the purpose of generating electricity, as well as
    a consent under the Electricity Act 1968 to generate electricity
    by the use of water.
  3. The generation of electricity by the use of water pursuant
    to this consent shall be carried out by means of the works
    described in the Schedule hereto.
  4. This consent shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984 or until
    electrical energy is available from an electrical supply
    authority, whichever is the earlier.
  5. This consent confers no rights to water under the Water
    and Soil Conservation Act 1967 or otherwise.
  6. For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum
    payable in respect of this consent, the maximum generating
    capacity of the plant at the date of this consent is 8 kW.

SCHEDULE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

(a) Head works consisting of a dam and intake situated in
Section 33814, Block I, Grasmere Survey District.
(b) Water race leading to the powerhouse, giving a static
head of approximately 20 ft.
(c) Tail race from the powerhouse to Sarah Creek.
(d) Water turbine and powerhouse situated in Section
33814, Block I, Grasmere Survey District.

As shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 781 deposited in the
office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington.

Licensing David McLeod, Sheep Farmer, Cass, to Erect and
Use Electric Lines


PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby licenses David McLeod, sheep farmer, of
Cass, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct,
put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto.


CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
    Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
    1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all
    regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any
    of those regulations.
  2. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
    (d) and (e) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regula-
    tions 1967, and shall be an alternating current system.
  3. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 31st day of March 1984 or until
    electrical energy is available from an electric power board
    or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

Electric lines commencing from the licensee's generator and
proceeding across Sections 33814, 6714, 33817, 33819, and
33815, Block I, Grasmere Survey District, and across the
West Coast railway line, the Craigieburn Road, and the West
Coast Road to the licensee's homestead and other buildings,
as shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 781 deposited in the
office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington.
