Declaring Land Taken for Road and a Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block X, Wakamarina Survey District, Marlborough County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and also hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Kelvin Joseph Maule, of Rai Valley, farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 190, recorded in register book, Volume 55, folio 89, Marlborough Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 22nd day of December 1969.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23771 (S.O. 4760) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the entirety of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Whangarei from and after the 22nd day of December 1969; and that, notwithstanding section 19 of the Public Works Act 1928, no part of the said land shall be deemed to be excepted out of this Declaration.

Declaring Easements over Land Taken for a Mental Hospital in Block XII, Waikouaiti Survey District

———

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement over the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a mental hospital, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of pipes along, over, or under the land described in the said First Schedule hereto, and to convey water through the said pipes, the aforesaid easement to be held appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and that this Declaration shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of December 1969.
